Vintage Crockery Hire for weddings and tea parties FAQs

Where do you hire to?

We can hire anywhere! Obviously, the further away you are, the higher the delivery and collection fees will be! We are based in Coventry, Warwickshire.

How much is delivery and collection?

We charge 45 pence per mile.

Do you deliver and collect the crockery direct to our venue?

Yes, we personally deliver it to your venue. We usually deliver it on a Friday for a Saturday wedding and pick it up on Monday. Of course, we are very flexible and will try to work around you.

Do we get to pick the crockery?

Due to our large selection of crockery, we usually just pick it for you. If you would really like to pick it yourself and select specific items, this can be arranged by prior appointment. This service will be charged at a flat rate of £45.00, as our collection is extensive.

Do you wash the items or do we have to?

It's up to you! We can wash all of the crockery for you which will be charged at 15% of the total of your booking or you can do it. Please note that our crockery is not suitable for a dishwasher and it must be washed by hand.

What happens if we break an item?

If you break or lose an item of crockery, we will deduct the appropriate amount from your re-fundable damage deposit. Please see our terms and conditions for prices.

Do you hire out to any types of events?

Yes! We hire out to weddings, christenings, baby showers, family gatherings, birthday parties, funerals. You name it, we do it! All our crockery is also available for photo shoots and corporate events.

How soon do I need to make a booking?

As soon as possible. myvintageparty is extremely busy and we'd hate you to be disappointed as availability is quickly booked up. If you want to guarantee your date, book and pay your deposit as soon as you can.

Please contact us! You can either call us or send an email. Please let us know where your venue is, the date of the event and how many guests will be attending. We will then send you a quote and let you know what to do next.
